Millennium Bridge House

Iconic riverfront refurbishment beside Millennium Bridge. We coordinated design risk, access and public interface to deliver safe, compliant construction.

Millennium Bridge House redevelopment project near St Paul’s Cathedral

Project Summary

Overview

PIB Risk Management, formerly BGHS, has been appointed by Beltane Asset Management as Principal Designer and CDM Advisor for the transformation of Millennium Bridge House, a landmark building overlooking the River Thames.

The project involves the extension and complete refurbishment of the late 1980s office block to create a mixed-use development with modern workspaces, retail units and a new sixth-floor restaurant with panoramic views across the river.

Located directly next to Millennium Bridge and close to St Paul’s Cathedral, this is a highly prominent and logistically complex site. Our role includes supporting design development and pre-construction planning to help the client meet their legal duties under the CDM 2015 regulations.

Through early engagement, design risk appraisals and ongoing CDM compliance advice, we are helping ensure that health and safety is embedded throughout the redevelopment process. This includes protecting the surrounding environment, managing public interface risks and supporting a smooth delivery.
