Getjar, part of the Masterson Holdings Group, is one of the UK’s largest concrete frame specialists. In 2023, they partnered with PIB Risk Management and SL Training to enhance workforce development, streamline compliance, and embed a proactive safety culture across their operations.
Enhancing compliance through smarter systems
We introduced xCenta, our training management platform, to give Getjar real-time visibility of workforce compliance. The system’s Training Matrix allows job role–based tracking, automated monitoring of certification status, and instant identification of training needs. This has helped ensure that all operatives remain qualified and site-ready, significantly reducing the risk of project delays and non-compliance.
Nothing has ever been too much trouble for Matt Todd and the team at PIB Risk Management. Their professionalism, flexibility, and dedication to helping our workforce succeed have been second to none. – Tony Sheen (Training Manager – Getjar)
Streamlined, high-quality NVQ delivery
Through our network of assessors, we delivered NVQ qualifications across multiple roles, including site managers, supervisors, plant operators, health and safety personnel, groundworks, and formwork teams. Average completion times were just 8–9 weeks, with minimal disruption to site schedules. Thanks to grant funding, all NVQs were provided at no cost to Getjar, maximising value while supporting career progression.
Building a culture of safety and development
This partnership has not only improved operational compliance but also reinforced Getjar’s commitment to professional development. Employees now have clear pathways for progression, training records are easily accessible, and the business benefits from a workforce that is better equipped to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.
By combining innovative compliance software with expert training delivery, PIB Risk Management has helped Getjar strengthen safety standards, upskill teams, and future-proof their workforce capability.
