Bryanston Square

Heritage façades in Marylebone demand careful planning. We coordinated CDM compliance to preserve character while keeping works safe and efficient.

Restoration works at Bryanston Square, part of The Portman Estate in London

Project Summary

Overview

Our team, previously part of BGHS, has worked with The Portman Estate on a range of heritage and refurbishment projects across their central London portfolio.

At Bryanston Square, we were appointed as Principal Designer and CDM Advisor to support a programme of cyclical maintenance and external redecoration works. These included the sensitive repair and restoration of several Grade II listed Georgian buildings within the estate.

Our role included coordinating health and safety responsibilities under CDM 2015, reviewing design and contractor arrangements, and helping ensure the works met both statutory obligations and the estate’s high standards of conservation and presentation.

The project formed part of The Portman Estate’s wider commitment to preserving Marylebone’s built heritage while supporting contemporary residential and commercial use.
