With advice and information regarding Coronavirus / COVID-19 constantly evolving as the situation develops and scientific knowledge grows, any summary of current recommendations in an article such as this is likely to be out of date almost as soon as it is written, so how can you keep up to date?

For safety, health and other questions and assistance you can still contact the PIB Risk Management team through the usual channels, even if your normal contact is temporarily unavailable, one of our specialists will be available to help you work through your enquiry.

The HSE are constantly reviewing and revising their Coronavirus specific advice, a dedicated section of the HSE’s website can be found at: https://www.hse.gov.uk/news/coronavirus.htm which at the time of writing includes information on first aid cover and qualifications, testing and examination of work equipment, face fit testing of PPE and guidance on social distancing at work.

In Northern Ireland the HSENI have information available at: https://www.hseni.gov.uk/topic/covid-19-advice-and-guidance-places-work
