The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has now made available 22 translations of their essential walkaround check information for HGV drivers. Languages available include Welsh, French, Spanish, German, etc. and can be easily selected from the top right of the webpage.
Daily walkaround checks are an important part of ensuring that vehicles are roadworthy and safe to drive.
To disseminate the information further, the DVSA has stated that they will be handing out this guidance to drivers when carrying out roadside checks, as well as requesting employers to include the information in toolbox talks and meetings.
