Course Overview
A comprehensive five-day course for current and aspiring site managers who are responsible for construction site safety. Developed by the CITB, SMSTS covers the full scope of legal duties, risk assessment procedures, and best practice for managing people and hazards on site.
You’ll gain the skills to plan and organise work safely, lead on CDM compliance, and foster a positive safety culture. Assessment includes a group project and multiple-choice test. Delegates who successfully complete the course will receive a CITB SMSTS certificate valid for five years.
