Who is this course designed for?
The SMSTS course is for project managers, contracts managers, site managers, supervisors and construction related business owners. This is a nationally recognised course within the construction industry and is the minimum requirement for Site Managers.
You will gain an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on construction sites in relation to the role of Site Management.
About the course
Duration: 5 Days
- CITB regulated
Refresher training: Recommended every 3 years
This course is delivered in a face-to-face format over 5 days (these can be 5 continuous days or spread over 2 – 5 weeks). This is a highly interactive course taught through case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual or group presentations.
You will need to do some self-study outside of the course.
The course can be held at any of our offices (Retford, Lincoln, York, London) or at an alternate location which suits you as the Client or the delegates (if an ‘Open’ course). Continuous assessment – you will need to attend all 5 days. Multiple choice test and practical exercise.
