Who is this course designed for?

This one-day interactive training workshop will show how important it is for staff to understand how reports prepared at the scene of an incident / accident or during a subsequent investigation can be used in legal proceedings.

The focused course provides participants with the necessary skills to gather evidence, interview witnesses and present their findings in a way that is understood and accepted in the judicial system.

The content of a report may have a major influence on the evidence given in court, as cross-examination may be based upon it. Although the majority of civil cases settle out of court, every report may potentially be used in legal proceedings.

Expert tuition will enable delegates to write reports suitable for the courtroom. A professionally written report may avoid the need for litigation altogether.
