GRI is an American based international standards organisation which helps businesses, governments and other organisations understand and report on a wide range of sustainability issues.
With support from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) a new standard was recently launched providing guidance on measuring and reporting on occupational health and safety impacts on the economy, the environment and wider society. This builds on a previous standard launched in 2018 and includes new features such as indicators on the implementation of occupational health and safety management systems.
You can find out more about the standard on the GRI website at https://www.globalreporting.org/standards or through IOSH’s website at https://www.iosh.co.uk/News/Release-of-GRI-OSH.aspx
